Christopher Palermo was born in Tampa, Florida and has been practicing law from the Tampa Bay area for over 23 years. He is an experienced trial attorney with vast experience in construction defect and insurance law, including the handling of complex litigation and disputes involving sinkhole, hurricane, roof damage, water intrusion and insurance bad faith cases for both residential and commercial properties; as well as, business interruption claims. Through his representation of construction defect matters he has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and judgements on behalf of clients facing defective stucco damage. In addition, Chris has helped countless individuals successfully resolve liability litigation and disputes involving personal injury, premises liability, professional malpractice and medical malpractice. Compassion for those who have been wronged and legal tenacity underscore Chris’s deep reverence for the law. He is an advocate for the people and a counselor for his clients.

Chris is a fifth generation Floridian. His family first set foot in Tampa in 1889. Chris attended Jesuit High School and the University of Florida for his Bachelor of Arts degree, Masters in Business Administration Degree and Juris Doctorate Law Degree. He obtained Cum Laude honors in achieving all of his degrees from the University of Florida where he obtained simultaneous Masters in Business Administration and Juris Doctorate. Chris also worked as a teaching assistant for Law Professor Robert Emerson and served as a primary researcher and editor for his 1994-1995 Law Review Article addressing franchising and covenants against competition (See 80 Iowa L. Chris founded the Law Offices of Christopher Palermo, P.A., in 2009 with a passion to help all Floridians with disputes where they were forced to take on the powerful and needed a champion in their corner. Chris wanted to make sure that his clients would receive the most aggressive and compassionate representation concerning damage to their home, family, person or business. Prior to starting the law firm, Chris gained unique industry experience having worked for both a prominent insurance and personal injury litigation firm and a fortune 500 corporation. He loves the Tampa Bay area and the State of Florida and he strives to provide value to those who call this beautiful place home.
